OPEN CALL FILMMUSIC | MUSIC FOR MEDIA

Media Innovation Orchestra (MIO) and the Technochoir are searching for young composers in Film and Media Scoring.

Their compositions will be recorded within a live session by MIO and Technochoir in 2022.

The composition should be arranged for classic Orchestra with Band (sax, dr, percussion, e-guitar, e-bass), aswell as integrated Choir parts.

SUBMISSION

ELIGIBILITY
Composers of any nationality/gender/age are eligible to apply. The works submitted to the competition must not have been performed, published or awarded before.

INSTRUMENTATION
At least 8 instruments must be used, (live) electronics are desired. String quintet, Flute I, Oboe I, Clarinet I, Bassoon I, Horn I, Trumpet I, Trombone I, Tuba I

DURATION OF THE COMPOSITION
4-30 minutes

LIVE RECORDING OF SELECTED WORKS
When the piece is chosen, a live performance plus recording (audio and video) as part of concert will take place in 2022

Video and audio recordings will be made.

The participants agree to having their work be presented in a live concert.

The participants agree to a non-profit and creative common use of their recordings on the Webpage of the orchestra and their connected Social Media Channels like Soundcloud, Facebook, Instagram, Linked In and others.

Further undertakings that are connected with the recording must be communicated and discussed.

On demand the scores can be published on our website to be sold to other orchestras or projects with a 20% provision for the composer.

The recording of the score must only be used for further projects in accordance of the orchestra.

If the recording is to be used in a commercial project, the orchestra demands to be informed and payed off with a 20% comissision of the total project fee.
